The New Edition Story's three night event is something to be excited about!

No matter what age you are, almost everyone is familiar with the legendary music New Edition has blessed us with throughout the years. The group was founded in Boston when they were only kids and saw great success with their hit singles, Candy Girl and Mr. Telephone Man. New Edition seamlessly transitioned from being just a "boy band" and as adults, continued to put out hit after hit. We even saw a few subgroups and solo breakouts from them including Bell Biv DeVoe, Bobby Brown and Johnny Gill. 

Just like any other music group, New Edition saw its fair share of drama, separations and breakups. It's definitely a story that is movie ready! So, following in the footsteps of The Jacksons: The American Dream and The Temptations, The New Edition Story will be premiering on BET for three nights straight starting on January 24, 2017. Seeing as most of the members of New Edition were apart of production in someway, this biopic will be as close to the truth as we can get.
